Well, after reading Lisa and Kevin's blog I thought it would be fun to start a blog of our own so we can stay connected to our loved ones and friends can read fun things we are doing out in our new home in North Carolina. We moved in just one month ago and are loving it out here. The only thing that would make it better is to have friends and family move out here by us.
Chip started his job 2 weeks ago and I have hardly seen him since. The longest day occured 1 week ago when I dropped him off at 7:30 am and he didn't call until 1:30 am to come get him. Then, he came home, fell into bed at 2, and was gone at 6:45 am the next morning. The sickest part about all this was when he called for me to come get him the next night at 11 pm, we both were so excited he was "getting off early". That is just sick!!!
Anyways, he is loving his job, learning a ton and loving every minute of it (especially his excel shortcuts), and sitting down for way to many hours a day. He now better understands why my dad likes to come home and stand up for the next couple of hours after long hours of sitting. We just had three of his buddies from the bank come for dinner and that was a blast! They were a lot of fun and I am glad he is liking those he spends so much time with!
I am currently debating offers and that story is long and for another post. However, I hope to know in the next week which offer I will be accepting! We will keep you updated --- and pictures will be coming shortly.
