My 1st Birthday Story.......

I woke up happy and had my favorite breakfast of bananas, waffles, and orange juice!


Then, I opened some presents from daddy before he went to work!





I went swimming with about 30 friends!
I ate a yummy nectarine there and enjoyed a funny diving show!








I came home and took a 4 hour nap while mommy tried to make my birthday cake!

The first one didn't work so she threw it away and tried again!
The second one was better, altho mommy still wasn't happy with it....she said it will be better on my party day!!! (it is a monkey cake in case you can't tell)

I woke up so happy and ready to play with my toys!






I ate my favorite dinner food: Maccaroni, watermelon, grapes, corn, blackbeans, and a popsicle
(yes, I can eat a lot - I am a growing boy of course! I am pretty messy tho!)


Daddy came home and we played and opened more presents!










This one is definitely my favorite!!! Check out my moves!



I got to blow out my candle and eat my birthday cake for the first time!
(It was yummy, although it didn't turn out as good as mom hoped.........maybe for my party it will look better (she really hopes so))

At 8:30 I was exhausted and said good night to mommy and daddy and went to bed!

1 year old today!!!!

Happy Birthday Cash!!! We can't believe it has been 1 whole year since you joined us!

We have been so blessed to have you in our family! We love how you make us smile, your giggle that is so infectious, the mean "stink eye" you give, how happy you are in the morning, the funny way you crinkle your nose, the entertainment and charmer character you always bring out to any stranger, etc etc (i could go on forever more)

It is weird to think at this exact moment last year we were in the hospital still making bets on how big you would be, guessing what you would look like, and waiting to meet you! Then, at 4:55 on August 18, 2008 you finally entered this world!!! All I can say is that although it was a rough ROUGH delivery, this past year has been worth it!

You are the best thing that ever happened to daddy and me! We love you!

We arrived home tonight from our fun trip to Utah!!!
It went WAY too fast!
We didn't get to do everything we had planned, but we did have tons of fun............
visiting the zoo, celebrating Papa Dave's birthday, seeing friends, rhinestoning Kim's new dress, eating yummy food, watching Sam and Kevin's softball games, going to the dance competition, running with the family, celebrating Cash's birthday, getting Cash's pictures taken, and just having a BLAST with the family!!!

I am already counting down til the next trip out this fall! I miss you already family!
Thanks for being SO good to us and for loving Cash so much!
