First Week at Grammy's: June 16-18!

Our days have been jam packed with such fun activities since we arrived.  Each day we have playdates and have visited different people, and that has been a blast for both me and the kids!  We love how many friends either live in Utah or are also visiting and we can catch up with - esp our East coast visitors!

Monday was Alex B-day - turning 26 - and it was fun to get to celebrate with him!  We had a lunch with the whole fam since he was going out with his girlfriend Brittney for dinner and a date!  I somehow don't have any pics of the kids and him blowing out his candles but it was definitely fun times!

June 17
First on our list was a playdate with Nora and Cash and Griff and Adelaide and Ivy and Lena!  We went to the Bean Museum at BYU and it has been redone and was a great trip for all!  They don't have a lot of their animals out at this time yet but it is huge and seems like it will be awesome when it is totally finished.  The kids had a blast and was like they were old friends!

Outside reuniting with friends!

Trying to get everyone to look at one time is a bit of a trial - and the giraffe being so tall was just impossible!

 The whole crew!

They had brought a magnifying glass and Ivy loved it - it was hysterical watching her look through and explain things to little Lena!  So funny!

After we were done with the museum it was off to the BYU creamery for some icecream!  Super yummy!  Kids loved it!

We went straight from there to meet Sam at Kneaders for lunch for his bday!  Happy 23 years to my favorite youngest bro!  We love him SOOOOOO much and are so glad we got to celebrate with him!

Kim and Houston joined too so we had a fun little crew and it was delicious too!

After that we went home to grab our swimmies and then it was off to the Provo Rec center to meet the Lewis girls - friends from Cville!  So much fun and we loved it so much we got a pass!  Yeah!!!  This place is awesome for kids!

Ivy and Madeline were so cute together!

Little girl conversations are way too cute!

 Hanging out!

My boys had a blast too and have so much fun together here!

June 18
Wednesday morning we got up and the kids helped Grammy with some cleaning.  Super fun times washing the glass!  Boys loved it and love helping her clean.  Hope they will love to help me someday too!

We then packed a lunch and headed to the temple to have a picnic with our friends from China - the Krommenhoeks - who now live here in Provo, and that was a blast too!  We have know them since when they only had 2 kids and we had 1 - now they have 4 and we have 3 - crazy how fast the time has flown!  It was a gorgeous day!

Future missionaries right here!  Love these boys - Cash and Kees hit it off well again, after a slight little hiccup from a cousin somewhere.  I have learned Cash is very sensitive and often when we first start seeing someone he gets embarrassed or his feelings hurt and cries, but then it is great and he is fine 5 minutes later and that was how this was!

Then we headed to a park at Rock Canyon Bowl and let the kids run around some more!  Until we got too hot;)

Then we were going to go swimming but kids decided it was too late and so we switched tracks and went to the worst movie EVER!!!!!  Rio 2!!! Absolutely horrible.  However, we went with our friends from above - they met us there - she had her 4 kids plus 2 nephews and our 3 kids so 9 kids under 10 and we managed great! It was at the dollar movie so thought it would be great and yet when we showed up it was only showing in 3D so we had to pay $4/ticket and then with the treats since it was the dinner hour it ended up being more spendy then planned, and the movie was so boring Griffin slept during the last half hour, Cash complained it was too boring, and Ivy sang Rock a bye Baby to herself while moving back and forth on her booster during part of the show!  It was her first time in the theatre tho and it was super fun!  She loved it and the popcorn and drink so hooray for surviving!

The next few days coming tomorrow!
