Santa pictures are one of our favorite traditions each year - mostly because we pick out a frame and put them on the mantle and get to see how the kids have grown each year....and also which one is afraid or crying in the pic.......Last year was actually the first time we had a crying child and Ivy was screaming and trying to get away as she was terrified of Santa. This year she told us before we ever went that she would not cry like last year and she would be happy!
Well, she was a bit uneasy once we got in line and by the time it was our turn she was gripping my shoulder so hard she pretty much left nail marks in me. However, she did at least go stand for a few pics and smile! She didn't want to sit on his lap but would hold onto Griffin's hand and smile for the camera, with a very apprehensive glance between each shot at Santa to make sure he wasn't going to try to pick her up! It was pretty funny!
We did finally get her to go in front of him and tell him what she was hoping for for Christmas, and then stand there for some shots, altho this was more terrifying then from the side because she couldn't see behind her and wanted to keep glancing back at him to make sure he wasn't touching her!
