June 30 - July 6 - Daddy comes to visit for the holiday!!!!!

This week FLEW  by because of the holiday and Chip coming to town and all the family fun we had going on!  It was great!  I just wish we could relive it all over again!

We had our second and final week of swim for this session - kids did great and are loving it - they were sad when Thursday came and want to go back for more.  Also, Cash's tennis coach said he was the one who surprised him the most with how great he did.  He is awesome and gonna continue tennis and private lessons too!

Here the boys are chatting about something in their lesson!

Ivy LOVES the water and can go under all on her own and is gonna be a little fish soon!

Listening to their favorite teacher Jesse!

My friend is going into the Center for Change for a month tomorrow and so I decided to do up some hugs and kisses with reasons why I love her for her to take and eat when she feels lonely! I am so glad she is getting help and agreeing to do this, and altho it will be hard and tough and trying and there have been lots of tears she knows she needs to be there.  And I am proud of her for going! Loves forever to a BFF!!!

July 1st:  We did a lot of sidewalk chalking, bubbles, hanging with Grammy and Great Grandma Rosen, and just chillaxing on Leslie Nelson's tramp after swim and tennis!

Mom also got a little break out and went to lunch with some of my HS girlfriends.  Always fun to catch up with them!

On the way back from the tramp we came through Harrison's hill and the kids had a blast rolling down.  Brought back childhood memories!

Grandma Rosen wasn't too happy to be at Jamestown this day - she told us how there are lots of ugly spirits and souls here and altho it looks pretty the people are ugly cuz they aren't nice and it isn't a good place.  She was pretty worked up about things today!

Wednesday, July 2 we hiked the Grotto with Rian and family - SO much fun and turning into a tradition for us!

Kees even braved getting in the VERY cold falls this time!

We ate snacks and watched a LOT of people arrive - a crowded day for sure!
Selfie of us moms - enjoying our time together!

The walk back was easy and fun! Beautiful Utah!

Best buddies!

On the way up we got stuck because cows were in the road and wouldn't move - both the boys were asleep and missed it so on the way down we stopped to get a few pics of these crazy animals that had gotten off the road finally!

Thursday, July 3 we got up early and headed to the balloon fest - SO much fun!  Papa and Ivy were buds and Grammy and the boys hung out - mom took the pictures!

We got really close to one of the balloons going up!

It was warm and very exciting for the kids.  Happened to be a friend's family balloon and the only one that lifted off for the day as the wind was too bad afterwards!

Ivy loved the Pig balloon!

Such a fun activity!

The only one to take off!

Enjoying her seat!

Then we came home and got ready for last day of swim - patriotic suits and all!

Ivy got to wear a life jacket and go off the board this time - she didn't love it but did it and didn't cry!

After some time at the rec center with friends we were all very tired and ivy was out cold! (and wet from the pool) Glasses still on and all!

I headed up to SLC to meet a friend for dinner and shopping before heading to pick up Chip from the airport.  We ate at a great place right across the street from this temple - my favorite place and where I was married 8 years ago.  Love it!

July 4: Independence Day!
We woke up and headed to our 10k race that goes down the parade route - always a fun run!
Before the race we got pics - good thing cuz my dad's knee gave out on mile 3 and he was on crutches the rest of the day.  Not sure what it was but not good.  My mom did awesome and beat me by a few minutes - and I was just happy to not get a sideache, not have hip pain, and complete it in under 10 minute miles.  Wahoo!

Lindsey and Collynn ran too and so fun to have friends to cheer each other on!

And the balloons took off this day!

Best part was these guys at the end cheering me on and being there when I finished.  Love them to pieces!

ALso meeting up with other friends who ran too - love these girls!  Ok I AM NOT a good jumper for photos!

Then it was parade time - we lucked out and saw friends on the parade route as we ran and they told us to come sit with them so we had front row, shaded seats and it was so much fun!

Ivy only cared about seeing "punzel" and once she was gone she kept asking for her so i pretended all the floats with miss ......whatever.... were punzel - it was pretty funny!

Also she was terrified by the big balloons, which was pretty funny too, she just kept saying "i don't like them, I don't like it!" and hiding her head on Grammy during them!

We met up with friends for swimming at Provo Rec during the very hot afternoon, then BBQ with the family for dinner before Chip and I got to head out on a date to Stadium of Fire!!! We had a blast and kids did too!

I managed to get a few pics of whole fam before we left in our Red, White, & Blue!!! Happy 4th Everyone!

Stadium of fire was AMAZING!!!! Carrie Underwood rocked, Studio C was fun, the tramp guys were awesome, and the fireworks were the best I have ever seen! EVER!!!! Such a good night (wish it were a little cooler as it was SO hot even at 11 pm tho)

Saturday, July 5 we had lots of fun with our daddy!
The kids went to How to Train Your Dragon 2 with him at the theatre,
Then we did J-dawgs for Lunch!!!  yummy!

Then Provo Rec again with daddy and he even got Ivy and Griff to go down the big slides, which was cool - they love having their daddy in town with them - and ME too!!!

Then Brick oven for dinner - here Cash is making a snake (evil) face with his snake balloon!
Ivy has a butterfly, and Griff got a lightning McQueen! So yummy!

Sam joined us too!

Ivy loved it and Cash with another snake face!

So many good places to eat in Provo!

Sunday, July 6, 2014: Celebrating 4 years of Griffin!

He wanted a Ninja turtle cake so I delivered!
Turned out super cute and SO delicious!
He was happy so it was worth it.

Although his birthday is really the 13th! (next sunday) we celebrated a week early so his daddy and also Alex could be there.  So we sang, did presents, and hung out.  So much fun and he was so happy!

Ivy in a cake and icecream coma after the yummy treats - and then wearing Griffin's ninja turtle backpack he got which she also loves!
Going outside to play with the uncles some basketball and just relax in great weather - and Ivy got Grammy to take her on a walk in her "trolley"!

Today Chip had to go back to Cali, and it was like Reality and Depression hit us all!
We miss him already and can't wait to be reunited with him soon (as soon as he finds us a house that is)!
