Thanksgiving Madness!!!
We had a blast with everyone on Thanksgiving - and quite a big crew! For the dinner we had 15 people, so for my first time cooking the pressure was on! Despite my little bout of Pneumonia I was diagnosed with on Tuesday, Thursday was great and the meal came off tastin' mighty fine! Thanks Dad for all the recipes and live coaching via my cell all week. The stuffing and bird came off just like I remember it at home!
We loved having Jordan and Beth (Chip's sister and husband) out here all week! It felt a little more like a real holiday with them around. Also, we had a blast with Cady and Jeff and little Jarrett, and the Stevesons (both down from DC). All in all, an absolutely perfect day!
We ate lots, relaxed more, watched a LOT of football! (GO COUGARS), shopped a bit on Black Friday, and laughed even more. A perfect way to start off the wonderful holiday season. I am truly grateful for wonderful friends and family with which we have such good memories and so much fun!
The countdown is now on for Christmas!

Man, that dinner was so incredibly delicious! I could eat some more right now! We had such a fab time being with you guys and staying in your lovely home! Steph and Chip are the best hosts ever:) We love you guys, thanks again for a memorable Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for fun friends like you!
Hi! We're friends of Chip's- EJ lived next door at BYU and then Chip came out here to do an internship with EJ's company. That's how I got to know Chip. So I found your blog through Adam and Wendy Smith's- they used to live out here when we first moved in. So crazy! It's fun to look at your blog. It looks like you guys are having fun despite Chip's long work hours!!! Tell Chip hi!
I can't believe you made Thanksgiving dinner all by yourself! That is so brave...i tried that once and forgot to thaw the turkey...needless to say, i have never tried cooking turkey again. Happy holidays!
Steph- You are amazing! I luv the pics and your house looks adorable! It always makes a difference to have at least a little family around for the holidays...sounded like a perfect day/weekend! *Also luved the final rose for Chip's b-day...classic! Keep 'em postin! Luv Cami
Steph I am super impressed with you for cooking your own dinner. I was just going to post on your blog about how to do a slide show and then you already had one on here-sorry things have been a little crazy-Ryan keeps getting these really bad fevers every weekend and keeps us up all night. I hope things are going well
I can't believe you cooked Thanksgiving dinner for that many people. That is amazing! One day I will try it and will call you for some good recipes. It was so fun talking to you the other day. We do need to keep in touch more. Love the blog!

It was fun talking to you the other day. It was fun to see all your pictures of Thanksgiving. All the food looked great, and I heard it tasted good too. I have never made the whole Thanksgiving meal before. I am impressed!
You are a little Martha Stewart! I am impressed! It sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving! I am glad you have fun friends to enjoy it with!
Hey girlie, could you email me your address or just leave it on my blog? your great!-anne
Looks like you had a great time. The food looks amazing and I am sure you were such a great hostess!! The whole weekend was made better with a huge win from the cougs!
Steph- How fun...I have been bad at posting as you can tell! We definitely have to get together soon. I am not sure if we will go to Steve's parents for Christmas or not..stil deciding! I will let you know though and maybe we can stop by on the way up! Love ya, Amanda
Okay...here is what I have found easiest with the Gingerbread houses. Buy the gingerbread house kit because they definately work the best. I tried our first year to make our own gingerbread and mine was always too soft. So find a kit, they should sell them everywhere and you two have fun. It is lots of fun and I will be excited to see pics of the finished product!!
Steph...I am so sad that we didn't get to go to Virginia and stop by to visit with you...we will definitely have to do it sometime soon. I know that Steve's reunion is coming up this year (high school reunion that is) so we will be going up to Delaware and hopefully we will drive and be able to stop by! Merry Christmas!

Yeah! I don't even know who's blog led me to yours, but I'm so glad I found it. It looks like you two are doing awesome! I hope all is well!!
