Saturday the most beautiful day we have had in Beijing since we moved here back in February.....so we took full advantage and went to the park all morning. Chaoyang is our favorite, as it is huge and has tons of fun things to do. Today, we decided to show our friends, the Roneys, the park by bicycle - we rented a four person bike, with a basket on the front for the 2 little toddlers, and set off. It was so much fun!!!
Cash, awaiting his co-rider Nora
They had stutues and monument things all over...and this one was for the volleyball tournament from the olympics back in 2008 - it was held at this very park. Here Chip, Britton, and Cash are striking a pose like these fun statues!
Since we live in the Chaoyang District we definitely had to get a picture of this sign!
This patch of grass is where we fly kites, and the kids were playing frisbees - finally, a park we can actually get on the grass....one of the few in Beijing!!!
Nora and Cash learned to throw the frisbees
We got asked all the day long if they were twins....nope, but maybe someday boyfriend and girlfriend....or if nothing else best buddies right now!!! They were so cute holding hands walking around
bump, set spike...another look
Our awesome bike - 2 toddlers on the fron, the hubbies manning the wheel and doing the harder pedaling, and hil and i on the back with the 2 babies in the front pack - also pedaling hard!!! It was a great workout, and so much fun...minus a couple big hills, but a great way to see the park!!!
By te end we were all hot and tired...we had a good lunch of hot dogs for some, noodles for the girls, and curry for Britton - and then topped off the trip with popsicles for the kids - yummy!!!
This was taking place as we left at the entrance of the park - they were actually not bad dancers, but the funniest part was there was 1 lone boy in the act, and he was more into it then anyone else! We had a good laugh watching him while waiting for our cab!!! It was a great day!

How fun. BTW, I can't believe that Cash is going to preschool. My how time flies. When are you guys coming home? I miss you - even if I'm not the best with phone calls. I'll try to call soon (the time change messes me up) or you call me.
Awesome..sounds like some good times for change.
xoxo
