Let's Go Fly A Kite

Once upon a time there were finally beautiful days in Beijing! The weather was perfect, with a great breeze and perfect for kite flying. So - the Brown family decided to go to Chaoyang park and fly a kite and enjoy the clear (and more clean) air! Chip got off work early and we set off!

Cash took this ball from another little boy and then wanted to play soccer with him - here he is mid-jump!
What do you see? An eagle? Well, that is our awesome kite!
Dad was more excited about it than Cash I think - and this is right before the string snapped and the kite flew away from us!
Dad went to find the kite - and Cash and this little boy were chasing the ball and exploring all the ins and outs of the park!
Kick, kick, kick!
Chip bought another kite - another eagle - and this nice old man was giving him some flying tips
Cash wanted to help put it together!
All ready to go wit kite 2 - alto some nice boys did bring back kite 1 to us - it got stuck on a roof tho right after and so we needed this one!
With a better spinner to hold the string Cash and daddy set out - Cash wanted to fly it so he is taking a turn!
And it is up....for about 30 seconds!
And it is now down - Daddy to the rescue to help get it back up!

Daddy takes over!
Up it goes - soaring high!
"Good one daddy, good one"
hmm..another one is broke and gone for good! This is harder than it looks Cashee!
The next one was a giant snake with a tail - pretty high up daddy, and pretty awesome! (altho cash was worried because it was a snake - think he might have my fear of them!)
Griffin and mommy enjoyed the park too - chilling on the grass and sleeping in the stroller - but yes, family, he does open is eyes so here is the proof after we got home! He slept the whole time there, and then woke up the moment we came home - good baby Griff!
What a great day!
