This past weekend we flew into Chicago for my brother Stan's wedding to Mary.
We had never met her, and unfortunately didn't make it to the pool party on Thursday since our flight was late, so I didn't get to meet her until in the temple after they were already married. However, she seems wonderful, he is super in love and happy, and so we welcome her into the family and are excited to get to know her better at Christmas when we go to Utah for Kevin and Hollie's wedding!!!
Cash was SOOO excited to go see Grammy and his uncles and aunts and woke up at 6 am yelling "we going to cacago today! Today we going to cacago!" on Thursday morning! It was a great trip (minus delayed flights both ways and Griffin's ears bugging him so he was screaming the last 20 minutes of the trip home at 1 am!!!) It was great being with family, celebrating my dad's birthday (which was on the 4th), meeting Mary's family, and getting to spend time together in a new fun city. We got to tour Chicago on Saturday before leaving and it is a great city. Cynthia was our great tour guide since she knows the city so well, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the trip! I didn't take hardly any pictures, so all the ones I have are courtesy of Grammy! Thanks for a wonderful trip family!
